Yeah!! Jun Wei is finally back from his Australia trip! :) But he’s a living virus right now! *better stay away from him for a week*
But Desmond is off to Redang. :( Oh well… Remind me of our Bunk4 trip to Redang last year. I really wanna go back there for holidays again!! :D
Looking forward to next weekend! :)
Actually, I wanna blog about the NDP preview that I attended on Saturday. BUT I’m kinda lazy now. I’m going to do it some time this week when I’m more free! :D

Bunk 4 Road Trip! July 3, 2009

Yesterday went Johor Bahru with Bunk 4 (Ren Kun, Clara, Jing Chyi, Xing Yun and Desmond) - our first ever road trip! :) *haha* Really wanna thank Desmond for being the driver the entire day. Thanks Desmond! 辛苦你了… :)
We had 肉骨茶 (which is damn good and cheap lah!) for lunch and after which, we went to City Square for karaoke, at Neway. Oh ya, the karaoke is REAL cheap! We sang for almost 6 hours and it’s less than S$10 per person! Cheaper than 10 dollars club in Chinatown lah! :D What I like most about Neway is that they provide 4 microphones, instead of the usual pathetic 2. :) On top of that, the English songs at Neway is waaaaaaaay much better compare to any of the karaoke I’ve been to in Singapore. They got ‘Boom Boom Pow’ by Black Eyed Peas leh (and of course many other songs)! *haha* The only down side? The air-con was damn cold can?! 10 degrees Celsius leh. I didn’t even know that air-con can go below 16 degrees Celsius. *haha* It was so cold that my knees hurt like hell man. Rheumatism maybe? :P After our karaoke session, we went to Hong Kong Kim Gary for dinner. Oh my… once again, it’s damn cheap lah! The prices on the menu are almost exactly the same compare to the same restaurant in Singapore, except it’s in RM instead of S$. :D All in all, I only spent like S$25 for the entire day. I’m sure bunk4 will have more outings to JB in the future. :)
We left Johor Bahru at around 8pm and Desmond actually send everyone of us home. :) After sending the rest of them home, I travelled with him to Bedok (to collect something for his uncle, who lived in Jurong) before sending me home. By the way, his iphone is damn cool lah! His iphone got this application that can actually ‘listen’ to any songs and tell you what song it is. Cool right?!
During the entire journey, we actually talked a lot of stuffs. *haha* We were discussing how come although bunk4 know each other for almost 3 years, we never had an argument before. Frankly speaking, I really don’t know why leh but I think is a real blessing. :)
Anyway, I really wanna thank him for lending me a listening ear throughout the journey. I really appreciate it… Once again, thanks! :)

I just realised that it’s been quite a while since I last blogged. Dear has been constantly tell me to update my blog even though we spend almost everyday with each other. :D The main reason why I haven’t been blogging recently is because I spend most of my private time (time spent at home)… playing The Sims 3! :)
The Sims 3 is damn addictive can?! I can play for 5 hours straight without knowing it. *haha* No wonder people say time flies. VERY TRUE. :) Anyway, 4 of the sims that I originally created are going to die soon or later (due to old age)! :( Which means that my only second generation (my sims are busy climbing the career ladder that they have no time to woohoo) will be left all alone! Time to find him a mate… :)
Anyway, back to the main topic ya? I’m sure that everyone should have heard this news (for those who haven’t, please get out of our cave!) – Michael Jackson is dead.
Frankly speaking, when I first heard that he’s dead, I was feeling quite nonchalant. As cruel as I may sound, but that was really how I feel. Maybe if I was younger (maybe 8 to 10 years), I might feel sad. When I was a primary school kid, I’m a HUGE fan of Michael Jackson. I used to love (and still love) almost every song of his – Thriller, Beat It, Smooth Criminal, Billie Jean, etc. I remember playing Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker on my Sega Genesis (super nolstagic can?!). :) I also remember my brothers and I once watch one of Michael Jackon’s movie, and afterwhich, we kept trying to do the famous ‘moonwalk’. Needless to say, we failed lah. *haha* Those were the memories… :)
Over the past few years, all I heard of Michael Jackson wasn’t his songs anymore (his last single was released in 2001 – if I’m not wrong) but rather, his tabloid news. As time goes by, the extend of my idolisation towards him become lesser and lesser. In fact, he has become kinda ‘scary’, due to the news regarding what he did at his neverland ranch. *shrudders*
These few days, I’ve been spending quite some time looking back his old videos. All I can say is that… nothing can beat his old songs. :) In this era, where the music industry is filled with crappy songs (soulja boy, anyone?) and music has actually lost it true meaning. If he was to continue producing his music, I’m sure the music industry will definitely be so much better.
Recent new reports has shown that Michael Jackson died due to overdose of drugs. Am I shocked? Not really. Some time I realised that the world has been totally unfair to celebrities. In order to gain fame, celebrities has to sell practically their whole life. Why are people more focus on the life of celebrities rather then their music, movies, etc.? Aren’t we being a little bit unfair? 8 days magazine recently did a life-coverage of his story and I realised that he didn’t had it easy. The life he’s lead, is it really worth the amount he earned? I really don’t know… Being celebrities, they have to hide their problems from the rest of the world. Sadly to say, people always expect celebrities to be ‘superhumans’ but they never realised that they are humans afterall. Who doesn’t have problems? As humans, is really hard for us to hide our problems.Why must we ‘force’ them to hide their problems? The harder one try to suppress, the harder one will fall… Just give them a break ya?
Anyway, just feel like digressing a little. Recently, I realised it’s better for me to suppress how I feel. Ok wait, maybe there isn’t any problems at all. Maybe I’m just trying to hard to find what is wrong… when there’s nothing wrong at all. I know that the problem is most probably because I think too much. I also don’t want but I can’t help it. I guess I shall try to best to stop thinking and stop trying. Let just hope that I’ll know what to do. I just hope that I can be who you want me to be. [Please don't ask me anything regarding this. Thanks.]
Goodbye, Michael Jackson. The world will be missing you… :)
Gotta’ go and sleep already. Tomorrow need to wake up early… Can’t wait till tomorrow – going JB with Bunk4! Woohoo! :D
