When I Was Young January 7, 2010

While I was cleaning my room today (finally!), I was rummaging through my secondary school and junior college notes. As I was doing that, I was thinking to myself, “Hey, I WAS smart!” *haha* I glanced at my A levels physics questions and I realised I couldn’t figure it out anymore… Guess I’m not getting any wiser. :P

Just side track a little, I’m getting a revamp for my bedroom! *woohoo* Since years ago (when I was secondary 1?), I have always wanted to revamp my room but I’m just… plain lazy. *haha* Recently, I bought a Wii and I decided to get a new 32 inch HD TV and put it in my room. So I was thinking why not, revamp my room as well? So after talking to my aunt, she decided to sponsor $1, 000 my project. So exciting! :) I’m going to get a new queen size bed (my old bed is cracking but still standing strong :) ), a new cupboard and a new work desk. Oh ya, I’m also going to paint my room lime green! Can’t wait for my new room! :D

Anyway, while I was clearing out my stuffs, I also came across my primary school report book. Nostalgic. :) And so, I decided to blog about my 6 years of record before I chunk my report book to an unknown corner and never to be found again. *haha*

Primary 1
Semester 1
English Language – 92 (Band 1)
Chinese – 93 (Band 1)
Mathematics – 89 (Band 1)
Class Position – 7/43
Remarks – He is a fast learner and neat in his work. He has to learn to work in a group.

*haha* Guess like I wasn’t a team player from the start. I got all band 1 for my 3 subjects and I still only get 7th in class?! How competitive is that?!

Semester 2
English Language – 92 (Band 1)
Chinese – 91 (Band 1)
Mathematics – 90 (Band 1)
Class Position – 7/43
Level Position – 79/468
Remarks: He is a fast learner and shows interest in his work. He is also a responsible group leader. He has potential to score in his studies with consistent effort.

This is even more scary – all band 1 and I still get 79th in the whole school. Was Xingnan full of geniuses?! :) I guess my form teacher loves to use ‘fast learner’. *haha* I’m responsible. Way to go! :D

Primary 2
English Language – 69 (Band 3)
Chinese – 81 (Band 2)
Mathematics – 86 (Band 1)
Class Position – 10/33
Remarks – He is friendly and hardworking pupil. He must learn to participate more actively in all class activities.

Primary 2 marked the beginning of my lousy english grades. *haha* I’m kinda anti-social in class huh? Why I don’t seems to remember?! Anyway, after primary one education, our school decided to open up few new classes as the class size was kinda big. I was one of the unlucky one chosen to go the new class. Maybe, that’s why I seems anti-social. :p

Semester 2
English – 75 (band 2)
Chinese – 92 (band 1)
Mathematics – 80 (band 2)
Class Position – 8/33
Level Position – 101/429
Remarks – He is well mannered and caring. However he is rather slow i completing his class assignments.

Yeah, I’m slow but at least I completed my class assignments! *haha* I always thought that I’m studious throughout my primary school, but I guess, probably NOT.

Primary 3
Semester 1
English Language – 64 (Band 3)
Chinese – 83 (Band 2)
Mathematics – 74 (Band 2)
Science – 86 (Band 1)
Class Position – 8/40
Remarks – He has done welll but can still do better.

In case you are wondering, the well was really spell with 3 ‘l’s. *wah* Type so little words still can make mistake. Don’t they proof read before printing!! First year taking science and I got band 1. *haha* Maybe that’s why I’m a quite talented in science. :D

Semester 2
English Language – 65 (Band 3)
Chinese – 84 (Band 2)
Mathematics – 80 (Band 2)
Science – 86 (Band 1)
Class Position – 5/35
Level Position – 123/419
Remarks – An efficient worker. He is rather consistent in his performance.

Okay, this is kinda amazing. 5th in class, 123th in the level?! *haha* I am consistent?! Hey, I improved (by only 8 marks)! Don’t you think I deserve some recognition?!

I shall post the rest of my results next time round. I’m getting a little tired due to the medicine I’m taking. :/
